Pacific Northwest Acupuncture
She/her pronouns. I am a doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, licensed in Washington and California. I first moved to Seattle in 1999, and I enjoy living and working in the growing community of South Seattle. I believe strongly in compassion for all living beings. Through Chinese medicine, I approach the patient holistically, assisting the body-mind-spirit to a state of balance and health. I started Pacific Northwest Acupuncture, PLLC, in December of 2017, and I am experienced in working with anxiety, depression, seasonal affective disorder, endocrine/hormonal imbalances, pain, addiction recovery, digestive disorders, and those seeking cosmetic “facial rejuvenation.”
Methods of treatment include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping therapy, point injection therapy (vitamin B-12 and other substances outlined by the Washington State Department of Health), electro-acupuncture, gua sha, nutritional planning, and guidance in mindfulness and meditation. I am volunteering services at the yearly free King County clinic, as well as at other local events. I am honored to now provide services at Transmission Wellness in Georgetown beginning June 2018.
My doctoral degree and master’s of science degree are from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA., and my undergraduate degree is from UCSC. Additionally, I trained abroad at China Beijing International Training Center, and worked at the Hospital of Acupuncture & Moxibustion in Beijing, China. I’ve previously provided Chinese medicine at the UCSD Cancer Center in Encinitas, CA, at Mental Health Systems Family Recovery Center in Oceanside, CA., at PCOM Clinic in San Diego, CA., and at Modern Acupuncture in Bellevue, WA.
