Morgan McCormick, PsyD Psychologist
New Leaves Psychotherapy, PLLC

Uses she/her pronouns. I'm happy to join transMISSION wellness and bring with me 10 years of experience providing individual therapy to adults. I graduated from The Minnesota School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University, Twin Cities in 2008 where I earned my Master's and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology. I have trained in a range of settings including university counseling centers, the public school system, and a partial hospitalization program. I worked as a staff psychologist at Counseling and Psychological Services at Cornell University, and, following that, started a successful solo private practice in Ithaca, NY. I'm excited to start my new practice in Seattle, New Leaves Psychotherapy, PLLC.
I would describe myself as a generalist, meaning I have worked with clients presenting with a very wide range of concerns/issues. Areas of specialty and interest are anxiety, depression, stress management, work/life balance, grief and loss, interpersonal/relationship issues, adjustment concerns, questioning identity/sexual orientation, and perfectionism. I am primarily cognitive-behavioral in my therapeutic approach but am also informed by Interpersonal, Psychodynamic, Feminist, and Existential theories. Please see my website for more information about me and how I work: www.newleavestherapy.com.
I am happy to be a part of transMISSION wellness and to be an ally to creating an environment where all are heard, respected, and accepted.
some insurances accepted soon
